Dear Members and Friends:
The Southampton Business & Professional Association will meet Tuesday, March 22nd at 11:45 a.m. followed by our noon luncheon meeting at Davisville Church located at 325 Street Road in Southampton with “Catering by George”. Cost for the catered lunch is $11.00, however, if reservations are made, a discount of one dollar will be given. The management must have our head count by Monday. We, therefore, MUST RECEIVE YOUR RESPONSE BY FRIDAY, March 18th, 2005. Please cooperate with this request and R.S.V.P. early to 215 322-1715.
SPEAKER …Michael Bannon from Bucks County Consumer Protection will be our speaker for the March meeting.
GEORGE LYNCH MEMORIAL GOLF OUTING…The big day will be Thursday, May 19th at the Northampton Country Club. We need players, sponsors, and party people as well as volunteers. Our Chairman is Bonnie Halbreiner. If you wish to add your name to the committee list or as a player, contact Bonnie @ 215 441-1452. We have flyers available to be given out at each business. We will have a corporate package available for $600.00. This will include 4 golfers, lunch, awards banquet and tee sponsor. We also need raffle items. If you have any prizes you wish to donate, contact Tom Turnbach at 215 953-8127.
VETERAN’S CORNER… It’s that time of year again. We will be remulching, doing weed control and planting before Memorial Day.
ANNUAL OFFICIAL CORPORATE MEETING…We invite all shareholders and Board of Directors to join us at our Workshop Meeting on April 12th held at 749 Cherry Lane. We look forward to seeing you..
CITIZEN OF THE YEAR AWARD DINNER…The annual dinner is scheduled for Wednesday, March 30th, @ 6:30 P.M. and is being held at the Hampton Hall, Southampton Fire House. Anyone interested in attending, please contact John Held @ 215 322-9630.
SHOW TIME… On Thursday evening, June 9th, the John O. Danenberger Foundation will present , Southampton Night at the Theater featuring the comedy “Are You Being Served” by the Village Players of Hatboro. Curtain time is 7:30. Tickets are $10.00. Proceeds provide scholarships to graduating Southampton high school seniors. If you are interested and need tickets, contact John Held @ 215 322-9630
UPCOMING SEMINAR…Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a seminar “Career Women on the Move” Friday, May 6, 2005 at the Radisson Hotel, 2400 Old Lincoln Hwy, Rte 1, Trevose, PA at 8:30 to 1:30.
