Dear Members and Friends:
The Southampton Business & Professional Association will meet Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at 11:45 a.m. followed by our noon luncheon meeting at Davisville Church located at 325 Street Road in Southampton with “Catering by George.” Cost for the catered lunch is $11.00, however, if reservations are made, a discount of $1.00 will be given. The management must have our head count by Monday. We, therefore, MUST RECEIVE YOUR RESPONSE BY FRIDAY, September 23, 2005. Please cooperate with this request and R.S.V.P. early to 215 322-1715. We will be meeting once again in the original building.

SPEAKERS – With elections around the corner, we will be having local Democratic candidates as our speakers.
TAMANEND PARK DAY – This event was held on a weather perfect day. Saturday, September 10, 2005. Once again we had a successful event with the Big Brothers and Big Sisters as benefactor. Unfortunately our volunteer list was a little short. For those that did help, thanks for your support. Special thanks to Gerry Bowen, Tom Rodman, John Held, Susan Schneider, Jerry Hill, Denise Hill, and the Richboro Shop’n Bag.
FLEA MARKET – We are fast approaching our Annual Flea Market which will be held on Oscar Huber's grounds on Sunday, October 16th. This event will be chaired by Susan Schneider and Shirlee Schumann. We need your help. If you plan on volunteering, please contact either chairman. We will circulate a sign up sheet for this event at the luncheon, so please, if you/re free that day, add your name to the list.
WORKSHOP MEETING – Our next workshop meeting held at 749 Cherry Lane on October 11th will be our Formal Corporate Annual Meeting for the organization.
HOLIDAY LIGHT PARTY – We have chosen Saturday, November 5th, 8:30 a.m. to meet at 749 Cherry Lane to unpack, repair, replace and do whatever is necessary to prepare the holiday lights for decorating Second Street Pike. To be followed by a delicious lunch.
The actual hanging of the lights will be done on Saturday, November 19th, 2005 at 7:30 a.m. meeting again at Cherry Lane.
The taking down of the lights will be held on 1/7/06 at 8:30 a.m. For all three events we will be passing sign up sheets around at the upcoming luncheon. Please try to add your name to the list.
UPCOMING EVENTS – The Greater Warminster Chamber of Commerce will be holding their Business Card Exchange on Thursday, September 15, 2005 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m at Lafferty Chevrolet, 829 W. Street Road, Warminster..
Mark your calendar for December 13th as the day of our Holiday party. Plan on joining us to welcome the start of the Holiday Season.
