Dear Members & Friends:
The Southampton Business & Professional Association will meet Tuesday, September
28th, 2004 at 11:45 A.M. followed by our noon luncheon meeting at Davisville
Church, located at 325 Street Road in Southampton with "Catering by George".
Cost for the catered lunch is $11.00, however, if reservations are made, a
discount of one dollar will be given. The management must have our head count by
Monday. We, therefore, MUST RECEIVE YOUR RESPONSE BY FRIDAY, September 24th.

SPEAKERS - With elections around the corner, we will be having local
Democratic candidates as our speakers.
GEORGE LYNCH MEMORIAL GOLF OUTING - By this time, we will have enjoyed
our golf outing held on Thursday, September 16th at the Northampton Country
Club. Hopefully the skies were sunny. A big thank you to our sponsors and
players as well as all volunteers and chair personnel. Without everyone's
support we could not achieve our goals. Great going guys.
FLEA MARKET - Be sure to register for a space at our upcoming Flea Market
to be held on October 17th @ Oscar Huber's parking lot. The event will be
handled by Susan Schneider and Shirlee Schumann so please contact either
chairman. All proceeds from this effort goes toward keeping our Southampton
Business and Professional Assoc. organization running smoothly. We need your
help. A volunteer sheet will be passed around at our September luncheon meeting.

BUSINESS CARD EXCHANGE - 10/21/04 at Bucks County Conference & Visitors
Bureau located at 3207 Street Road in Bensalem. See attached flyer with all
details.
HOLIDAY LIGHT PARTY - This event is scheduled for November 16th
9 a.m., at 749 Cherry Lane to unpack, repair, replace and do whatever is
necessary to prepare the holiday lights for decorating Second Street Pike.
Lynette will once more don her "Chef" hat and furnish a delicious lunch for all
who give their services. If you've been there before, you know what a treat is
in store for you.
The actual hanging of the lights will be done on Saturday 11/20/04. Everyone
will meet @ 8:30 a.m. Come out and join us. A sign up sheet will be circulated
at our September luncheon meeting.
The taking down of the lights will be held on 1/15/05.
UPCOMING ELECTIONS - We will be needing people to fill officer vacancies
on our 2005 Board. Lynette Parkes, after 15 years of serving as our Treasurer
will be stepping down. Many thanks to Lynette for her continuous years of
excellent service. If you know someone or would like to submit your own name,
please call 215 322-1715.
REQUEST HELP - We've received a request from Lyn Lucat of the Girl Scouts
to have someone come and talk to them and explain how to price product,
materials, labor in a business setting. They are seeking to fund a trip. Please
