The Southampton Business & Professional Association will meet Tuesday, July 27th, 2004 at 11:45 A.M. followed by our noon luncheon meeting at Davisville Church, located at 325 Street Road in Southampton with "Catering by George". FOR THIS ONE TIME OUR MEETING WILL BE HELD IN THE OTHER BUILDING ON THE PARKING LOT. Cost for the catered breakfast $11.00, however, if reservations are made, a discount of one dollar will be given. The management must have our head count by Monday. We, therefore, MUST RECEIVE YOUR RESPONSE BY FRIDAY, July 23rd. GEORGE LYNCH MEMORIAL GOLF OUTING - The Golf Committee has a new date for the golf outing. Circle your calendar for Thursday, September 16th, 2004 at the Northampton Country Club. Once again we ask for volunteers as well as players and sponsors. Contact Matt Davis @ 215 942-7814. SOUTHAMPTON DAYS - 4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION - Congratulations everyone. We all pitched in, worked hard all week, faced oppressive weather conditions on Spaghetti Night and lived to tell about it. The figures are in and we did as well as last year regardless of the wet Wednesday. As always, a big thanks to Shirlee and Ron Schumann, Nancy Franey, John Held and all the many volunteers that are needed to make this a success. A list of all our helpers as well as food suppliers are listed on the attached sheet. If we have overlooked anyone, please submit your name to us. Again, to everyone, thank you. NEW FACES - Sandra Allison of the Bucks County Courier has volunteered to handle our newly formed Public Relations Dept. We look forward to working with you Sandy... NEW FEATURE - We are looking into making the membership directory larger this year by adding advertisements. We value your input and opinions. What do you think? BUSINESS CARD EXCHANGE - The Business Card Exchange in conjunction with other associations will be coming back in the fall. Plans are in the works now.... Stay tuned for further details....
FLEA MARKET - Once again we are making plans for our Flea Market to be held on October 17th @ Oscar Huber's parking lot. This event will be chaired by Susan Schneider and Shirlee Schumann. We need your help. If you plan on volunteering, please contact either chairman.
SPEAKER - Our own Irv Safra of iCue Corp. will be our July speaker. He will give us an update on changes in Fax and E-Mail laws and how you can improve customer retention and growth using Fax and E-Mail within the realm of these changes.
GALA EVENT - Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bucks County are running their 2004 Fundraising Fall Gala to be held at the Doylestown Country Club on September 10, 2004. For details contact Nancy Franey @ 215 322-5400.
